Google Checkout is a service provided by Google geared towards an improved checkout experience for the buyer. Google Checkout gives the consumer a single account where they can store their common billing and shipping addresses as well as credit card information, then make purchases at participating merchants using that information thereby offering a consistent checkout experience across all merchants. While convenient, the Google Checkout system does change some of the procedures we use here at HalloweenExpress.com to service customer orders. Please take a moment to review the below information. Understanding Google Checkout Processing Time Frames and How It Impacts Your Order
When you make a purchase using Google Checkout, there is at least a 15 minute delay from the time you place your order until the time we receive authorization to process your order. In some cases, the time lag can be considerably longer. While rare, we've seen time delays of over two hours while Google Checkout reviews the order. These delays are outside of our control. During this review time period our customer service personnel are not able to view order details since the order has not been authorized. We don't consider the order to be valid until such time as the Google Checkout system has authorized and confirmed the purchase.
During the busiest times of the year (particularly during the weeks leading up to Halloween) when demand is high and inventories are constantly changing, it is possible that an item appearing "in stock" when you place your order using Google Checkout, is no longer "in stock" by the time we receive the authorization from Google Checkout. If this situation occurs, you will receive notification that the item you ordered is no longer in stock and a refund will be issued. While we hope these situations are rare, they are out of our control.
Google Checkout and Returning an Item
One benefit of the Google Checkout system is that it allows the consumer to keep his/her email contact information anonymous. This benefit however can be a problem when dealing with returns since in order to obtain an RMA number, you have to log into our system using the email address and password associated with your order. For Google Checkout orders, your regular email address may not be the same email address if you elected to cloak your email address to us when you placed your order through Google Checkout. To log into our system to obtain an RMA number for item(s) you purchased from us using Google Checkout, follow these steps:
1. Click on THIS LINK to obtain a temporary password to use with your Google Checkout order. The password will be emailed to you immediately.
2. Once you have received a password that is associated with your Google Checkout order, log into our system by clicking on the 'MY ACCOUNT' icon found in the header of every page of our website.
3. Once you have successfully logged into the system follow the instructions to obtain an RMA number as detailed here: How to Initiate a Return .

Yes.
You'll find this information in your Google Checkout account and under the 'My Account' section of our website. Be aware however that in order to log into your account on our website, you'll need to use the email address Google provided with your order and a temporary password. You can obtain that password from us by CLICKING HERE and then logging into your acocunt online by clicking on the 'My Account' section of our website.

For the most part, yes. Our promotional coupons will work with Google Checkout. There may be some promotions that won't work with Google Checkout but they are rare and are clearly marked as being excluded from Google Checkout.

Can I return an item I purchased on HalloweenExpress.com purchased with Google Checkout?
YES, but the process to log into our system is a little different. Also, all returns are subject to our return policy. To log into our system to obtain an RMA number for item(s) you purchased from us using Google Checkout, follow these steps:

Are there restrictions using Google Checkout?
Yes, there are some restrictions. You can't use a HalloweenExpress.com Gift Card or Credit Voucher with the Google Checkout system. And, there may be some promotions which cannot be used with the Google Checkout system. These promotions however will explicitly say they cannot be used with Google Checkout.

Can I cancel my order if placed via Google Checkout?
You may cancel your order when placed using Google Checkout if you do so before Google Checkout has sent us authorization and confirmation of the order. This window is typically at least 15 minutes after you place your order. Once we receive the order from Google Checkout however your order cannot be canceled, altered or changed in any way.
